With an entire collection of products for the Ford Focus ST | Focus RS, one part we decided to develop is what every weekend autocrosser or road racer wants. Sliding around in the stock seats, even being Recaro, is inevitable. A good safety harness keeps you strapped in and secure to the seat so you can focus on the light touch of the steering wheel instead of using the steering wheel to hold on in a turn. To run a set of 4pt, 5pt, or 6pt harnesses, they need to be anchored properly. This is where a Harness Bar comes into place.
Utilizing a reverse triangle design, Agency Power’ harness bar for the Ford Focus ST | Focus RS allows you to wrap your belts securely around the 4140 steel bar. Mounted to the car with 1018 cold rolled steel flanges, the bar features harness guides so the harness stay in position behind the driver and passenger seat. Allowing the factory seat to be moved all the way back and slightly reclined, the harness bar sits just under the shoulder area within the spec to safely attach harnesses. The bars feature a slip fit design with locking pins to quickly install and uninstall the bar as needed. The harness bar does require the simple removal of the bottom seat cushion while installed as pictured.
